Prithvi Trust — For The Earth
Founded 2012 • Prithvi Trust

Protecting the earth starts with a root.

We travel village to village planting trees, reviving rivers, and teaching the next generation to care for this planet.

Not a slogan — real work on the ground

Prithvi Trust is a registered non-profit focused on forest conservation, water restoration, and environmental education. We started in one small village — today we're active in over 180 villages.

We believe real change happens with local communities, not for them. Every project trains and includes villagers as partners, not bystanders.

The day a tree's roots grow strong, a village's future grows strong too. — RAMESH KUMAR, FOUNDER

Transparency at every step

We're accountable to the villages we serve and to every donor who makes this work possible.

Registered Non-Profit

Fully registered under Indian law with 80G tax exemption for every donation.

Public Impact Reports

Every rupee tracked and published in an annual report open to anyone.

Local Leadership

Trained environmental leaders from within each village, not outside consultants.

Long-Term Care

Five years of aftercare on every plantation site, not a one-time drive.

Four steps, one movement

From a single seed to a restored ecosystem — this is the path every project follows.

01

Plant The Seed

Native saplings raised in our village nurseries, chosen for local soil and climate.

02

Involve The Village

Local families lead every plantation drive — it's their land, their water, their future.

03

Protect For Years

Five years of tracked aftercare, so saplings survive their first, hardest seasons.

04

Restore The Land

What began as one seedling grows into forest cover, cleaner water, and cooler air.

Green restored hillside

Three directions, one goal

Every program is run by a team from the same village where the work happens — not sent in from outside.
